About Author
Benidamika's writing journey started at her grandmother's vintage typewriter, where she would copy whatever her father was typing. She grew up loving bedtime stories and soon began trying to create her own. She explored poetry and other forms of writing, became a published poet, and eventually turned that early passion into a career.
Area of Interest
Benidamika enjoys getting lost in a good book and spending time with Bon, her orange cat who plays fetch and is fully convinced he’s part dog. She also enjoys coloring, building Lego sets, and spending time at the gym.

M.A in English Literature from North Eastern Hill University, India. M.Sc in Counseling Psychology from Assam Don Bosco University, India.

Currently, Benidamika is a Senior Feature Writer for Scoop Upworthy. She covers stories on Human Interest, Lifestyle, Pop Culture, and more. She began working as an Assistant Teacher, and later moved on to becoming a Content Writer on MomJunction. There, she specialized in writing psychological and relationship-centric articles, as well as researching baby names. Later, she began freelancing for Sportskeeda as an Entertainment and Trends Writer, focusing on Lifestyle, Fashion, Music, and Pop Culture-related topics.
